hi,

I tend to disagree with that "one of the last straws" opinion.

Even after the LUSITANIA sinking, Woodrow Wilson won the 1916 presidential election with a "He kept us out of War" campaign.

Germany`s (resp. the Kaiser`s) decision for unrestricted submarine warfare and the Zimmermann telegram were, IMO, the main points
