<HTML>RH,
Some basics on these two subs.
U-54 was built by the Germaniawerft in Kiel and launched on February 22, 1916. She accounted for 29 vessels of 90,927 grt and was commanded by, in turn, von Bothmer, Heesler, and von Ruckteschell. The tonnage total is quite respectable, but not outstanding.
U-118 was built by Vulcan in Hamburg, and launched on February 23, 1918. She accounted for only two ships totalling 10,439 grt tons. Her CO was Stohwasser.
Both were broken up in 1921 or 1922.</HTML>
