Looking for name of old uboat movie

Trying to find name of uboat movie I watched in the fifties. All I remember about it was it involved a ship that was captured and it supplied torepedos to uboats. The story was that the torepedos were armed when they gave them to the uboats and when the uboat got to a certain depth the torepedos would go off and blown up the uboats. The way they were found out was one of the men loading the torepedos onto the uboat offered one of the uboat crew members a cigarette in ENGLISH, thereby blowing their cover. Any help in learning the name of this movie and if it is still available for viewing would help in ending my search. Thanks
