U-869 Hitler\'s lost sub

<HTML>I just saw the Nova documentary on the search for U-869 last night.

Firat, I thought it was a really excellent documentary. Second, those divers were really obsessed with finding out the identity of that sub! Third, go figure, a boat supposed to be off Gibralter ends up on the New Jersey coast! I liked how everyone kept telling the divers how there couldn\'t be any sub off the New Jersey coast, because the official records said so. (But what about the wreck we see with our own eyes?)

I also liked seeing a lot of historians and historical figures. I hadn\'t seen a picture of Otto Weddingen (sp?) before. Interviews with Eric Topp, Clay Blair, etc. etc.

Hey, did those divers, while trying to identify U-who, contact u-boat.net, or post on this forum?
