Are you referring to the scene on the "Weser", the liner interned in Vigo, where the U-96 was being re-supplied for the attempt to run Gibraltar? The bit where the grubby crew is confronted by all the spit-and-polish types? There's a sort of Christmas carol-like instrumental piece going on all through it that sounded like a variation on Felice di Giardini's "Italian Hymn" tune. I assumed it was part of the score composed for the movie. I don't recall any singing in that scene.
