<HTML>There is one part of Das Boot that has always confused me; when Yohann has his nervous breakdown, the captain brings out his gun as if he is going to kill him. It seems to me that this would be drastic and counterproductive. does anyone have any interpretations/comments to share. Thanks</HTML>
