<HTML>That scene is about the beginning of the real shark hunt. When the trio, the old sailor, the biologist and the policeman, after a bit of beer, start exchange niceties. That dialogue turns to be a very revealing one, and after it all the three characters acquire a different aptitude each other.
I believe that an entire generation of Americans learned of the \"Indianapolis\" from that movie picture. Then, three Shark Movie Picture later, the environmentalists started their ball-busting campaign for the rehabilitation of the sharks.
The sharks, of course, appreciated it and soon demonstrated their fondness for primates\' flesh. (Monkeys and Humans are primates, but monkeys don’t surf).
