I do believe ripping a .srt file (subtitle) from a VHS video is not easily done without somebody actually typing them.
I got "Haie und kleine fische" and "U-47" from fleabay a month ago but they have no subtitles, but looking onto the bright side im working more on my German language course and finally finished level 1 and moved on to level 2, maybe in a couple of months I'll be able to watch and understand those movies.
