<HTML>Dear Meg,
Do'nt mind me writing these comments. I was also born after the war and its easy to stand at the side making comments on history.
I never met LGB and I do think that everyone in that time had his own troubles in surviving and I do read between the lines. He is showing a great admiration for the crews that went on patrol and never came back so I can understand his hate against the dispicable system he was willingly or unwillingly part of that made the dicicions to send out the blosom of the nation into their death. Nevertheless it still gives me a bad taste in my mouth that his "enlightment" came years after the war.
greetz,
