Admiral Donitz would have succeeded in his effort to starve England, had it not been for U.S. assistance, but you already knew that. :-))
So what are you trying to say? That according to his book, the U.S. is blowing its horn too loud?
Few countries were prepared for WWII, except of course Germany and Japan. It took a great amount of teamwork by the Allies to render Germany's defeat, and later Japan.
I totally respect your views in this matter, but don't have to agree. Been
there, done that!
