<HTML>Blair's books are great works, but for me it is like plowing through clay, they wear me down. I do find his lack of detail and his brief insertions very annoying. So I just use them for reference.

For my own preference of general U-boat history I like Edwin P. Hoyt.

I agree with you that only so much material can be included.</HTML>
