Well, a good depth charging tends to thicken the skin, right? Just get on the wrong side of the COB.
Now where do all the garbage weights and tins of coffee go - we never ran out of either - so I vote for "magic."
Loved those WWII Holywood movies, mine cables scraping down the side, missing the bow and stern planes. Wonder why we lost so many boats to mines, perhaps a supply system shortage of icons, alomg with the "tp."
