Long Shot

Hi All
This is a serious long shot but who knows????

I am looking for the title of a movie but only have a few
sketchy details as I saw the film about 30 years ago. The memories I have are of German paratroopers landing at a secret base in Scotland trying to prevent some operation from happening or steal something - can't remember. The operation fails and the paras are killed. The only other recollection I have is of MTB's and the name Flotilla. The RN uses MTB's for some sort of counter operation, I think in the Med?
Don't laugh at my vague memories but I seem to recall that the movie was quite good - don't know whether time has perhaps jaded my thoughts a little.
