Robert:
I rode USS PIPER (SS-409) out of N'Lon for about 6 years. I came
aboard as a non-qual and left after being COB for 2 years. Just
attended PIPER reunion at School St. in Groton, a short time sgo.
Did 24 and worked a Newport News Shipbuilding for 23. Dropped
anchor in Port Charlotte, FL Hurricane "Charley" knocked on my door last week but I dodged the bullet again. :-))
