Alexander,

Try to get hold of a copy of 'Against All Odds' by Thomas Gallacher, it's a good account of the attack on the Tirpitz, including it's background and aftermath, with some illustrations and photos.

If you have problems getting hold of a copy, let me know, I may be able to help.
