I believe that the movie “McKenzie Raiders†was based on another fictional account “The Bowmanville Break by Sidney Shelley.â€
Also it would appear that "The Bowmanville Break" is a fictional account of the actual event. The personalities in the story seem to reflect actual people.
You know the line "The names have been changed to protect the innocent.... or any similarity between real and fictional people is purely coincidental... "
