This is the forum for Movie and Film discussions. Again, our topic is naval warfare in WWII for the most part.

Every thing I have learned about submarines I DID learn from the movies. I'm a flyer, and aviation history is my primary field of study. I became interested in submarines in general and U-boats in particular in the early sixties, when I saw "The Emeny Below" on the Saturday night movie. Since then I've seen other movies, read books, watched the History channel, and now the internet.
A couple of things I've learned are:
1.Any personal problems on a boat can be cured by Ernest Borgnine with coffee.
2. Never, ever let the Three Stooges run a submarine.
One other thing. Somewhere on the internet I visited a site that listed all the submarines that have been used in movies. Any one know where I can find it?
Thanks,
Richard
