Hello there,
It would not need to be another U-boat movie, it could be a sort of The Longest Day, since it centres round the invasion in Normandy and its consequences for the U-boat bases along the coast of Biscay. But it would definitely need to be very strong on characters and plot in order to avoid becoming chaotic. That's my two pennies' worth of contribution to an otherwise purely speculative subject.
