The YAMATO documentary failed to mention that she (and MUSASHI) had a main battery that could be elevated to 43 degrees and fire anti-aircraft "Sanshikidan" (beehive) rounds up to
26 miles.
He main battery consisted of three triple turrets, with 18.1" - 45 caliber rifles, making them the largest anti-aircraft guns built by any nation.
