hi artem, glad you enjoyed the film. Although not strictly a submarine film i think you would also enjoy the 1965 film "the bedford incident". This stars richard widmark as captain eric finlander, u.s.n and eric portman as commodore wolfgang schrepke, deutsche navy. schrepke is on board as adviser to finlander in all matters submarine as he was a top u-boat ace in ww 2. my favorite line is his response to the question "hitlers navy?", he replies "no, doenitz's". good viewing, schalke.
