"THE SPY IN BLACK" (1939)

Quoting from a tv guide "Strikingly shot, urgently written spy drama from Powell and Pressburger. Conrad Veidt pays the German submarine captain hoping that his contact in Orkney (Valerie Hobson), a local schoolteacher, isn't in fact a triple agent."

It is on Channel 4 from 13.00 to 14.30 BST

It is well worth a look and recording for future watching.
