There was such a film, but it is proving extremely elusive to track down. My daughter caught it recently on an old black and white re run, but annoyingly failed to get the name.

My recollection is vivid, and the scene which stood out for me was the look on the sick man's face when he realised what the sub commander has in mind!

Someone please name the film, - I would like to see it again after all these years!
