Can anybody point me to an article about the types of life rafts that a U-boat would have carried, especially between 1940 and the end of 1942? I'm trying to learn more about what they were made of, how they were constructed (a multi-cell design or just one big tube like a modern pool toy), and whether a single man could have inflated one by blowing into a nozzle on the raft. Thanks!
