Who would I contact to ask if the contents of U-505 were present when the U.S. took over U-505? My father has a German sextant that he claims is from a WW2 uboat. It has the box and the sextant and adjuster are present in fine working condition. It has numbers issued to it and I assume may be able to tell what boat it came from by those numbers.
