Hello again everyone,  Michael, excellent job on picking up the Russian SKIFTET 336/08 built by Wm. You are undertaking a Herculean task, but you already know that. This site is the best thing since sliced bread for uboat research in WW1! Nothing else compares. Good Day Everyone, After spending several hours searching for Saturna without sucess, tried SATURNIA and found Saturnia 8611/10 built by Connell Scotstoun and BU Trieste 20.1.29. Obviously not sunk. Checking Lloyds, found that it was not listed as damaged either. Don't known if Spindler identifies the steamer. Should Saturna or Saturnia be on the list? Respectfully, Joe

My source for the data is a book titled Tin-Pots & Pirate Ships by Michael L. Hadley & Roger Sarty McGill-Queen's University Press. Unfortunately, it contains no ghost uboat or sea serpent stories. I'm looking forward to see

In the conning tower section, the following should be added to the Successes of U140. PORTO, Portuguese barque 1079/85,built by Mcmillan Dumbarton as GARTMORE later became BADEN and Sunk as Porto on 27.7.18. Kpt/lt Kophamel took about 5 hours to transfer stores from PORTO before freeing her crew and scuttling her. PORTO was carring barrel staves and 600 bales of cotton to Oporto from Sava
