Descripton: Tells about the career of this former U-boat commander who served on UC74 and UB105 in the Mediterranean in the last two years of World War I. He ended his career as a Kapitänleutnant but became Konteradmiral in 1938. The patriotic talk is all over the book, but it still gives a very good idea of what it must have been like on a U-boat in this theatre of the war that is not yet very well known.
