Hi Paul,

Yes! This kit has been made into a working r/c sub. I'd have to check my back issues of the SubCommittee Report, but there was an article a couple of years back on the project.

If I remember correctly, he made a mold of the hull and cast hollow clones of it. This to make it easier. Other than that, he used all of the kit-supplied detail parts.

You may also want to post your question on the SubCommittee web site (www.subcommittee.com), even if that modeler isn't around, you can get a lot of advice from others there.
