- La Paz, british flag, owned by Pacific Steam Navigation, built 1920, 6548 tgr, 406 ft. She was torpedoed and sunk in shallow water by U-109 (not 190) at position 28.30 N, 80.10 W. The torpedo worked properly. Refloated and sold to US concerns, and sold postwar to Belgian shipowner, renamed Rubens;
- Cornwood does not appear on any list in my files.
