Hi all,
I got an new PC on Friday (hard disc crash), but still not certain if it will be possible to have access to all my datas on the defect disc.
But I can give the following details of the "sinking":
At 08.37h sank unknown 2-masted schooner of approx. 200 tons, steering 30°, with 20 shots of her gun, 27 miles E of Start Point (032 delta 6).
From 08.43h to 09.02h she had an gunfigth with an unkown steamer of approx. 800 tons, steering 70°, but gave up and dived finally.
As both incidents are reported within an short timespan, the steamer should have noticed U 102's attack against the SV.
Also I think it's possible that the vessel didn't realy sink, as U 102 was engaged with the steamer.
Maybe we can sort out the steamer and have an look into the TNA-file on the engagement, if it was not an Q-ship (U 102 reported steamer with W/T and 2 guns).
