I know the Leith Lockhart volume well and its one of the key sources for 'Silent Warriors'
One of the complicated factors is that the charts referenced in the text, were actually removed and allowed to disintegrate. Fortunately they were committed to negative before they were lost. Nevertheless you can have years of fun piecing the negatives together.
If you plan on visiting Portsmouth for research, allow yourself plenty of time...
