Does anyone have any information on this first commander of SMU 3. Date/place of birth, Crew, Christian name etc?

SMU 3 was commissioned under this officer on 29.05.1909 and he died when she sank in an accident in Kiel Harbour on 17.01.1911. The first of so many U-boat casualties.
