Jim-
Otto Wunsche was commander of the u-boat that sank the US merchant ship Vigilancia. It was one of three sunk over the weekend March 16-18, that helped convince Wilson and the US public to support US entry into World War One. The details are provided in my recent book: Sovereignty at Sea: U.S. Merchant Ships and American Entry into World War One (University Press of Florida, 2010). You might like to take a look at the book, as I provide a lot of details of the event there.(in fact, the opening chapter is "The Voyage of the Vigilancia")
I would also like to get access to the website to see the images.
