In the interrogation of survivors of UB52 it is reported
"It appears probable that the 2 other ships claimed were SS Flawyl and SS Seine..."
Indeed, Launburg sank Flawyl but the problem is that I can't find a SS Seine sunk at this time neither in Lloyds, Starke or Miramar. This is why I haven't considered that vessel sunk neither we did include her in the site's dbase.
The only Seine known to me as afloat at the time is a danish steamer of 1345 grt but she lived until 1954 when she was broken up at Hamburg. Otherwise there was also a tug (308 grt) under Nederland flag, broken up in 1946.
What is the source of this information concerning SS Seine ? Really strange.
Best regards
Yves
