Thanks for this interesting complement of information.

As far as I know about the LAPLAND, (Gr.t. : 18.694 – N.t. : 13.120) she was launched the 27 June 1908 by Harland & Wolff Ltd. – Belfast for the Belgian « S.A. Belgo-Américaine / Red Star Line », but was transferred (without being sold) at the end of July 1914 under British flag.
On the 3 October 1914 she brought the 1st contingent of Canadian troops to Europe. Chartered from 29 October 1914 by the White Star Lines, she was then put on the Liverpool – New-York line. Was transformed and adapted as Troop-transport in June 1917.
Went back to the « Red Star Line » in January 1920 and put again on the Southampton – New-York line under Belgian flag.
Sold in 1928 to the Fred Leyland & C° Ltd. – Liverpool, she sailed up to June 1932. Sold for B.U. in Osaka (Japan) the next year for £ 30.000.
