Hello Michael,

Thank you for your interesting reaction, because furthermore I also found some other facts like this in the Belgian « Fishery Archives » and I don’t know where to search. Thanks for having a look for me, on your « new resources to track down attacks on U-boats ».
By the way, I am not sure that all the «official sea – reports » are always so correct.

QUOTE :
1. (Around) July 1917 : in the St. Georges Channel, the armed trawler « C.P.12 » (I don’t have other details) was sunk by a (unknown) U-boot.
2. (Around) April 1918 : UB-82 must have been sunk after a 30 minutes gun-fight with the Belgian trawler « O.35 ALFRED EDITH » which skipper also received the D.S. O.

Any information on those events are of course, welcome.
