Hello,

a WW2 U-boat Funker (Radio Operator) attended basic military training in a Schiffsstammabteilung , general radio training on the Marine-Nachrichtenschule Aurich, U-boat radio course on the Marine-Nachrichtenschule Flensburg-Mürwik, general U-boat course in the Unterseeboot-Lehrdivision Gotenhafen and some special courses for hydrophone and radar detecting devices. Then he was ready to serve in a U-boat.

What was the training for a WW1 u-boat Funker (Radio Operator)?

There was a kind of Nachrichtenschule or he received a schulschiff training?
