It was the type XXIII U-2336 (KL Klusmeier). Both of those ships were with convoy EN-91.
I think you are right about these being the last two torpedo sinkings by U-Boat in WW2 although at least one more was sunk after hostilities ceased, by mines laid by U-Boat.
