<HTML> Hello Everyone;
Stories of u boats penetrating defended allied harbours seems to be a common one. I live near the port of Halifax , Nova Scotia Canada , Where alot of convoys going to Britian assembled. and although there are several ships sunk close to the entrance( I scuba dive to a couple of them) they probibly never actually got through the sub nets . But I've heard the same sneeking in under large merchant ships stories as i've read here . I guess they had people pretty rattled on both sides of the ocean . Bob</HTML>
