<HTML>Hi all
I am a scuba diver and receive a monthly magazine called Dive(www.divemagazine.co.uk) In April\'s edition there is an excellent article about the Royal Oak by Peter Rowlands who filmed and photographed the ship recently. He has produced a 50 minute video which costs £19.95 and is available by calling 020 8399 5709.

I work with a guy who is an amateur naval historian and who is convinced that the U47 did not sink the Royal Oak because the log book (have not seen this myself so do not know if true) of the U47 states that Prien fired at a ship which was moored next to another ship.

The Royal Oak was on its own. He believes that the Royal Oak may have been sunk by artifacts stored in the locker rooms from the German Grand Fleet of World War One.

I will speak to him further and get some more info.
