<HTML>This is also a military forum and many people on it regard the WAFFEN SS as a legitimate military organization, which it was after around 1941. Like most things in Nazi Germany, you have to say what year you are talking about because so many parameters changed with time. Anyway, the Waffen SS is a rather mixed bag of divisions which ranged from some very elite military units all the way to some rather unsavory divisions involved in anti-partisan operations. Tarring every Waffen SS soldier with the same brush is quite unfair. Pointing that out has nothing to do with \">brown ideology and to glory SS murderers.<\" , unless you are one of those people who consider all soldiers to be murderers.

In any case, we agree this is not the right place for such a discourse.
