<HTML>I can not comment on the other three, but poor von Rosenstiel was never going to get the Ritterkreuz, not with that name. It sounds Jewish, although as a VON Rosenstiel he was not. I can just see Goebbels announcing the new U-boat hero von Rosenstiel, he would have problems pronouncing it. The name and the Ritterkreuz were mutually exclusive.
