Sebastian Inlet Florida Blockade?

<HTML>Hi everyone,
Here\'s another topic I\'ve been trying to find out more about. As I live close to Sebastian Inlet in Florida (I often surf there) I was doing some reading on its history. Now, I read a short excerpt that the Inlet there was once blockaded or barricaded to avoid u-boats from going into the Indian River/Banana River. Having talked to some older residents they even claim that a u-boat went into the inlet and came back out. Now that part is hard to believe because the River is quite shallow. I do believe that the Inlet was blocked but I can\'t find any additional information about it. Can anyone help? I don\'t own the books \"Operation Drumbeat\" or others related to the subject so I thought I would ask here from those who perhaps have read about this elsewhere.
Thanks in advance,
Best wishes,
Fin
