<HTML>There are lots of writers of sea/naval fiction. Some of the better ones include:
Nicholas Montserat, who tends to focus on the convoy escorts.
C.S. Forester, for general naval fiction, and, of course, Hornblower.
Edward L. Beach. Perhaps the best 20th century submarine fiction writer.
Douglas Reeman, who has written dozens of naval adventure novels, including several featuring U-boats in either British or German hands.
RAdm Daniel V. Gallery has written some good WWII non-fiction, as well as several comic novels with a naval theme.
Tom Clancy has naval aspects in most of his novels, though Hunt for Red October is the most thoroughly naval.
And, of course, me.
