If you are interested in the Battle of the Atlantic in general and the U-boat war in specific, this site has a tremendous amount of information for you. Go to the home page and:

1. Look on the lower left side. You will find a number of interesting articles.
2. Look at the special Sections listbox on the top right corner. Drop it down and select History Pages. This will take you to a number of good articles on various parts of the war.
3. Follow all of the links from the home page. You will find all kinds of information and photos. You will be amazed at how much is here.

There is also a great deal of information on this forum. Just read the threads. Many of them also contain the web addresses of other great sites. Note that this forum has a search engine. You can search for any topic you are interested in. Of course you can post a question like: does anybody know of a good site for this topic? Also there is a technical forum here as well. Don’t forget to take a look at it too.

If you are looking for books, they have great book reviews on this site. You get to it from the home page. Also, if you are interested in a certain U-boat, just key in its number in the U-boat Finder on the home page & it will take you to info on that boat. From the links there you can find out even more information. There is so much here it is hard to describe it all without leaving out something important. Just surf the site.

If you do the above you are in for some great reading. The Internet is an almost inexhaustible source of information on this topic. It is light on U-boat photos, but there are still a good number available. You just have to look for them.

I have been doing this on a regular basis now for over a year and I don’t see any end to it. Something new and interesting shows up just about every time I log on.
