According to \" The Defeat of the Enemy Attack on Shipping 1939-1945\" by
the Naval Records Society there were two boats sunk by US Ships on the 6th May \'45 recorded as follows:-
Kill No 778 on 6/May/45 U-853 by Sea Patrol USS Atherton & USS Moberley in position 41-13N 71-27W East coast of USA
Kill No 779 on 6/May/45 U-881 by Sea Patrol USS Farquhar in position 43-18N
47-44W North Atlantic.
For the record on the 7th May U-320 was sunk by RAF 210Sqdn Air Patrol in position 61-32N 01-53E East of Shetland.
Thats about all the gen I have.
