<HTML>The Archiv is in Altenbruch, not Cuxhaven---about 15 Marks or more by cab from the Cuxhaven train station, if I remember right.

They don\'t keep their doors open to the general public like your average museum. Normally, they like to know in advance of a planned visit, if at all possible (generally, Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday is the preferred visiting time). No one there on weekends.

You might want to call first (and usually 9 to 12 is the best time to catch someone in)...
