I am guessing at Yuri\\\\\\\'s translation, but he is certainly ruminating on the May 8, 1945 ending of \\\\\\\"The Great Patriotic War\\\\\\\". This is indeed a day of wonderful celebration there, and I am sorry I did not anticipate it. In fact, I am somewhat embarrassed because of all the decorations I have received, two from the U.S.S.R. are the most striking: the 40th Anniversary Medal in 1985 and the 50th Anniversary Medal in 1995.
