<HTML>Greetings to all,
I am preparing a research on U-402\'s sinking by an VC-9 Avenger and Wildcat on 13 October 1943. All the crew aboard went down with U-402 (KptLt. Baron Siegfried Von Forstner), hit underwater by a FIDO. But there were crews who were commanded to other duties before U-402 left for her last mission on 9 September 1943. I am looking for those former U-402 crewmembers, who might have photos of U-402 and recollections of the men and their boat. Any information tidbit is most welcome !
Thanks in advance
