<HTML>I agree whole heartedly with Geoff. It\'s understandable that those without English as a mother tongue will think this means blood thirsty or lacking in intelligence, but these would both be wrong.
A good example of someone who was \'bloody minded\' was Nelson when at the battle of Copenhagen he was bloody minded enough to decide he did not wish to see a signal, for withdrawal, I believe and said \'I see no signal\' afetr putting his telescope to his blind eye.
Nelson could be bloody when he wanted to be, but he never lacked intelligence and had a reputation for resolution and stubbornness which made him the man that he was.
