An \"old timer\" told me about 12 years ago that story of the Japanese
recce aircraft flying over Melbourne. It even flew over the Flemington racecourse
during a race meeting. (another way of losing your money!)
Around about the same time a soldier went missing off a beach near Apollo Bay.
He could of went AWOL or ? of course. Then a submarine was sighted of
Port Fairy a day or two later.
